I probably said this before — but I will say it again anyway! You cannot talk to another quilter for more than 10 minutes without learning something! At least I HOPE the other quilters are learning something from me! I am certainly learning from them!

Learning from each other…
I have decided it is impossible to visit with another quilter for more than five minutes without learning something! How much fun is that? Yesterday, for instance, I learned there is a book by Leah Day with 365 different free-motion quilting patterns, you can use a carpenter’s tape measure to make a snap closure for a quilted handbag, and practicing a pattern on the longarm in “silent” (not sewing) mode helps you relax!

Like an empty page…
An empty (or almost empty) design wall beckons to the quilter in me in the same way an empty page beckons to the writer in me. I wonder where it will take me!
